Description

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) is a high-quality enzyme obtained through the advanced techniques of deep liquid fermentation, extraction, concentration, and refinement from select bacterial strains. This enzyme catalyzes the conversion of superoxide anion radicals into hydrogen peroxide and oxygen, functioning as a specific antioxidant that scavenges superoxide anion radicals. It plays a vital role in the antioxidant and anti-aging biological processes of organisms.
Due to its effectiveness in combating oxidative stress and its optimized performance within a temperature range of 25°C to 40°C and a pH range of 6.5 to 8.5, SOD is extensively utilized across the medical, food, and cosmetic industries. Each batch is rigorously tested to maintain the highest standards of quality, ensuring its efficacy and versatility in a variety of applications.

Specification:
SOD: 10,000 U/g min.
Loss on dry: 8% max.
Lead (Pb): 5ppm max.
Arsenic (As): 3ppm max.

Application:
1) Utilized in the formulation of functional drinks, milk, and other foods, SOD offers health-promoting benefits such as anti-cancer properties, cognitive enhancement, and anti-aging effects.
2) Acts as an antioxidant in the food industry, used in the preservation of canned foods, juices, and beers to inhibit peroxidase activity, thus preventing spoilage and corruption.
3) Employed in cosmetics, SOD aids in preventing skin aging, diminishing freckles, reducing wrinkles, and enhancing sunscreen effectiveness.
4) In the pharmaceutical industry, SOD is crucial in developing treatments for burns and immune disorders, leveraging its therapeutic properties.
